The 4th stage of La Grande Odyssée Savoie Mont Blanc presented by Tractive continues at La Côte 2000, in Megève. The 31 mushers took the start of a 32km long course with a positive difference in altitude of 800m. The conditions were gathered to realize great performances.

At the finish, the Frenchman Remy Coste was first in the Open category. The German Heinrich Winter took the second place on the podium against his German rival Sylvia Ulrich. In the Limited category, the two French girls Aurélie Delattre and Cindy Duport are fighting for the first place. For the second time in a row it is Aurélie Delattre who crosses the finish line with a lead of only 20 seconds. Elsa Borgey (FR) finished in third place.

The Eukanuba Trophy started today, the Spanish Carlos Franch was ahead of his opponents with a gap of almost 30 minutes. The French Pierre Chaplain and Gerard Guimet came second and third respectively.

The “Wamine Dog Care” award, a chasuble given to the musher who has had an exemplary behavior with his dogs was given to Romain Da Fonseca. The “Best Nordic La Région Auvergne Rhône-Alpes” jersey given to the best ranked purebred Nordic team goes to Jean Combazard for the Open category and Grégory Coffre for the Limited category.

Today also took place the Odyssey for All. On this occasion, a dozen young adults from the IME of Cluses completed a four kilometer loop supervised by Frédéric Borgey, President of the French Federation of Sled Sports.
