Peisey-Vallandry is a lovely family resort, known for its authentic architecture, its friendly inhabitants, its optimal sunshine, its rich cultural heritage and its ideal location at the heart of the Paradiski area.
Sharing the same ski area as Les Arcs and having on its territory the largest cable car in the world, the Vanoise Express, which connects Peisey-Vallandry to La Plagne in just 4 minutes, there are 425 km of slopes available to skiers in the blink of an eye.
Peisey-Vallandry is also a privileged playground for learning to ski thanks to the new progression area created for the 2021/2022 season at the top of the new Vallandry gondola, but also an ideal playground to have fun in freeride thanks to its many world famous off-piste such as the North face of Bellecôte or the Aiguille Grive.
In addition to downhill skiing, Peisey-Vallandry offers ski touring Movement Tracks, as well as an exceptional Nordic site at the gateway to the Vanoise National Park, including 43 km of cross-country ski trails and a biathlon with approved shooting range.
In terms of off-ski activities, Peisey-Vallandry offers many hiking trails as well as horse, dog or even reindeer sleigh rides! Ice climbing, electric scooters, tobogganing, ski joëring, orientation courses, paragliding, yooner, moments of relaxation at spas, cultural visits, cinema sessions and more will also be available. Many other activities are offered throughout the season by the Tourist Office.
