La Grande Odyssee VVF is the only race in the world to benefit from this type of equipment on the field.
The teams participating in the race are at such a level of performance that it becomes essential to have a medical and the most accurate and fast diagnosis possible.
Thanks to the laboratory SCIL (official supplier), it is possible to achieve in the mountains and in extreme conditions, digital x-rays on a map sensor, ultrasounds, blood tests.
Real platform testing in extreme conditions, for this high-tech equipment, the experience of the 2015 edition showed all the reliability and precision of machines 2500m and 15 ° below zero.
The Vet Team will be equipped this year with a real field hospital: digital radiography sensor plane autonomous, automated hematology, biochemistry, ultrasound.
It may also be assayed blood gases directly through the use of an autonomous compact machine transportable directly on the trail when required.
