On Sunday January 16th 2022 will take place the departure of the 8th stage ” Bessans – Bonneval-sur-Arc “ of La Grande Odyssée Savoie Mont Blanc 2022 presented by Wamine.
Practical information :
- Start : 11:30am – 12pm (Mass-Start in 3 waves)
- Starting point : Bessans – Le Carreley
- Distance : 44km
- Difference in altitude : 600mD+ / 550mD-
- Arrival : 1:45pm – 3:35pm
- Arrival place : Bonneval-sur-Arc – Vieux Pont
How to follow the mushers on the course ?
Place yourself in the heart of the race to observe the mushers and their faithful companions in action.
- 12:25pm – 1:40pm : Passage to Bonneval-sur-Arc (car access)
- 1:05pm – 2:05pm : Passage to Villaron (access by snowshoe or on foot)
- 1:20 pm – 2:45 pm : Passage to Bessans (close to the starting area)

For the 18th edition of La Grande Odyssée Savoie Mont Blanc to take place in the best possible conditions, a valid health pass is required for adults and children over 12 years and 2 months to access the start and finish site of the race.
On these sites, wearing a mask is also mandatory for adults and children from 6 years old during the whole event.
