Stage 2 – 11/012021 – Montagnes du Giffre – Grand Massif

It was on the top of the ski resort where this second stage Montagnes du Giffre – Grand Massif presented by Zolux took place.
The mushers and our four-legged champions enjoyed the bright sunshine, all more motivated than the others.
On the schedule, a 24 km stage with 1,200 metres of positive elevation gain. Starting from the Plateau des Saix, the mushers began a first sportive climb up to the highest point of the course at more than 2,000 meters of altitude. Then, they took the ridge, went over the ski resort Morillon, before joining the Nordic area of Agy on which they ran along forest tracks. Finally, they climbed back up the ridge track and came back down to the Plateau des Saix. A physical, committed and technical stage.
In the overall classification, no change: Rémy Coste wins the stage in the Open category and keeps the lead. The second stage in the Limited category is won by Cindy Duport who keeps the lead of the general ranking. Aurélie Delattre confirms her first place at the Trophy Flexadin
